From Waste to Win: JuneShine Recovers Own CO2

JuneShine is turning waste into a valuable resource by recovering their own organic CO2 from fermentation.

“It didn’t make sense for us to have a Change Climate certification and buy Carbon Credits but not take care of our own CO2 that we’re off gassing here on-site, so with that we have installed CO2 reclamation,” says Head Brewer and Sustainability Manager, Luke Suttmiller.

DALUM Beverage Equipment installed a CO2 Recovery Plant at JuneShine’s San Diego Ranch location, making them the first hard kombucha company to utilize their own recovered CO2.
