Advanced CO2 Processing Technology For Carbon Capture

We specialize in cutting-edge CO2 separation, purification and liquefaction systems designed specifically for direct air capture and flue gas applications. As the world transitions to a low-carbon future, our solutions offer a reliable pathway to remove CO2 from air and enable scalable, cost-effective carbon capture. Our technology offers gas separation beginning with CO2 purities as low as 70% in one purification step.

Our CO2 liquefaction plants are modular, fully integrated systems that support pilot projects and commercial-scale deployments. From CO2 purification to CO2 compression and liquefication, we deliver turnkey solutions for a wide range of industries, including emerging direct air capture technology providers.

What is Carbon Capture and Why It Matters?

Carbon capture is the process of collecting carbon dioxide emissions before they enter the atmosphere. As industries face growing pressure to reduce their carbon footprint, CO2 capture has emerged as a crucial component of sustainable operations. Whether generated during fermentation, combustion, or chemical processes, carbon dioxide can be effectively captured, purified, and either reused or stored.

By implementing carbon capture systems, companies can contribute to climate goals, reduce their environmental impact, and often turn a costly emission into a valuable resource. CO2 liquefaction plays a key role in this process, transforming gaseous CO2 into a stable, easily stored and transportable liquid form in storage tanks or vaporizers.

The CO2 Liquefaction Process Explained

Liquefying carbon dioxide is essential for handling captured CO2 efficiently. The CO2 liquefaction process typically involves four major steps:

  1. Compression: Raw CO2 gas is compressed to increase its pressure, preparing it for cooling and purification.

  2. Cooling: The gas is cooled to near its condensation point, often using refrigeration systems.

  3. Purification and Dehydration: Moisture and impurities such as alcohols or hydrocarbons are removed to meet food-grade or industrial standards.

  4. Liquefaction: At high pressure and low temperature, CO2 is transformed into a liquid, which can then be stored or transported.

Dalum Equipment’s systems are designed to perform these steps with high energy efficiency, minimizing thermal losses and maximizing CO2 recovery yield. The result is a clean, liquefied product ready for reuse or sale.

Key Features and Advantages of CO2 liquefaction for carbon capture

Dalum’s CO2 liquefaction systems are built for performance, flexibility, and sustainability. Key features include:
