New Tank Options For Recovered CO2 – Meet Nacey Group
Tank suppliers have previously not allowed recovered CO2 in their tanks due to contamination concerns. However, DALUM’s proven ability to deliver CO2 meeting industry standards has earned Nacey Group’s trust. We are excited to announce our partnership with The Nacey Group, a leading tank supplier, who approves of the use of DALUM’s high purity recovered CO2 in their leased tanks and is also offering leasing on DALUM CO2 Recovery Plants for a total solution package.
If your brewery is not in a position to swap out a tank, you might be able to utilize a smaller and less expensive day tank for recovered CO2. We have several customers who operate this way.
To learn more about your leasing options, contact Ken Nacey at ken.nacey@naceygroup.com
First Install in Mexico at Cervecería Hércules
Compañía Cervecera Hércules, S. A. de C.V. based in Querétaro has become the first brewery in Mexico to install a DALUM CO2 Recovery Plant alongside a 10-ton storage tank.
Kim Christian Dalum, CEO & Founder, and Ricardo Perez, MBA, Latin America Sales Rep, visited the brewery to commission the system. Thanks to the talented team at Hércules, the installation was completed seamlessly.
Following the successful commissioning, Kim Dalum and Ricardo had the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of Hércules.
Located in a historic textile factory, Hércules has transformed it into a rustic brewery with a beautiful beer garden and hotel, and offers an incredible space to enjoy their great beers. A big thank you to Josh Brengle, Production Manager, and the Hércules team for welcoming us.
DALUM Joins Pink Boots Society Webinar
We recently had the pleasure of joining Pink Boots Society for a webinar focused on CO2 recovery. Ashley Zerick , Kelly Fetherolf , and Lykke Dalum discussed the fundamentals of CO2 recovery, strategies for reducing consumption, and shared data from DALUM customers who have achieved CO2 self-sufficiency. If you missed the live event, you can now watch the full webinar on YouTube and learn how CO2 recovery can benefit your brewery.
Refineries Closing Will Impact California Breweries
California’s craft breweries are facing potential CO2 supply disruptions due to planned and potential refinery closures, including Phillips 66‘s Wilmington refinery and Valero‘s Benicia and Wilmington facilities. With 13% of US commercial CO2 being sourced from refineries, these shutdowns might create shortages and price increases, which will further strain a supply chain already impacted by several factors such as declining gasoline demand and tightening environmental regulations. Craft brewers in CA who are reliant on external CO2, could experience reduced supply and increased costs.
CO2 recovery systems offer a solution by making it possible to collect and reuse their own biogenic CO2, which will ensure a stable supply and protect them against market volatility.
